I am reliably informed by my partner there’s quite a bit more to the Linehan story than you explore here. Why the trans issue seems to be so highly charged and attract so much vitriol I just don’t get.
I'm interested to see any additional information you might have, if you're happy to share. I wrote up that item from a speech perspective, but I agree with you, the broader debate is charged in a way I find counterproductive.

Agreed, Baz. When I do touch on it, it's mostly from the free speech angle, or the clarity/loss of language angle as Orwell set out so well in his fiction. Compassion is the intention, although it's for those reading or listening to decide if that comes across.
