Nicely done, Mike. It's good that Ring trialed their ad to work out any bugs at an event with only 126 million viewers.

Absolutely. Best to send up the trial balloon for a select audience before committing big.

Thank you, Mike, some jaw dropping stuff. You saved the best for last with the Wyze door cam ad - priceless!

Thanks Dave. When I found it, I knew it had closer energy. What a time to be alive, right?

Right? Me thinks we are living in that old Chinese proverb/curse about 'interesting times.' I almost restacked the article, but my presence here is apolitical, so I refrain from sharing anything that might piss off the neon-haired septum-pierced tender souls that make up the bulk of the artists I interact with. But damn, you sure make my day with your posts! Thank you for doing 'your part' to expose the weird. I live about 35 miles outside of Portland, Oregon, far enough away to keep the town I live in fairly sane. Besides, there are a LOT of police departments here!

Our US brilliant and fearless leaders keep telling us how Iran has been killing Americans for 47 years. This has been used as one of the rationales for attacking Iran. I asked AI about that, and here is what AI came up with. Note that the vast majority of Americans killed over a 47 year period were killed by Iranian BACKED MILITIAS, which occurred during the Iraq war - a war that was started by the US, based primarily on the whole WMD fabrication. Iran was assisting Shiite militias in an effort to help expel the Western invaders.

Estimates regarding American deaths caused by Iran over the past 47 years (roughly 1979–2026) vary, with reports frequently citing that the Iranian regime is accountable for more than 1,000 American soldier and civilian deaths. This total spans decades of regional conflicts, proxy attacks, and terrorist bombings.

Also note that all these incidents listed below occurred in the Middle East. Whey do these people keep insisting on placing their countries near our military bases!!??

Significant attacks and conflicts include:

Major Attacks and Proxy Conflicts

Nov 1979–Jan 1981: Iran Hostage Crisis. Iranian students, backed by the regime, took 66 Americans hostage for 444 days.

October 1983: Marine Compound Bombing, Beirut. Iran-backed Hezbollah killed 241 U.S. military personnel (220 Marines, 21 other service members).

1984–1985: Kidnapping and killing of CIA station chief William Buckley in Beirut by Hezbollah.

June 1996: Khobar Towers Bombing, Saudi Arabia. A truck bomb killed 19 American airmen. A U.S. federal judge ruled in 2006 that Iran was responsible.

2003–2011: Iraq War (Iran-backed Militias). The U.S. Department of Defense reported that Iran was responsible for at least 608 American troop deaths in Iraq (roughly 17% of all U.S. service personnel deaths in that period).
